Today we arrived in Miami it was a little cool this am but has warmed up beautifully. We took the shuttle bus into Baypoint Mall and Market. Walked around there for a little while then took a Taxi to South Beach. Wow all the shops and cafes. The buildings are all from the 30s and 40s and art deco all over. After a stop at Ghirardelli's for a cup of Chocolate we went to Macys as Bill forgot to bring dress shirts to go with his suit. Only had one with him after our mission was accomplished we got a cab to the famous Fontainebleau
Hotel the cab driver told us we would be disappointed and boy was he right. This is a extremely noisy cold place. the pool is inviting but the lobby, shops and restaurants leave much to be desired. It seems it has past it's prime. Oh well I guess we all have passed our prime (ha ha). We are in town until 9pm but have come back to the ship as I just couldn't walk anymore. Tomorrow is a sea day and I will be scooting around the ship. the say after that is Grand Cayman suppose to be a shopping paradise tax and duty feee so we will see. W would like to go to the beach for the day. but hey who says I can't do both shop and swim.
