Okay I must say the outpouring of sympathy from my post yesterday is unbelievable the title of this comes from my cousin Joey who wants to know did Bill take a picture of me lying there with the scooter on top of me. And he is not alone. My son Chris text back Ha HA HA. Someone else asked if I was drinking and a few more said they couldn’t help but laugh! Thank you all for your concern. It is so touching to know that you all care. In fact my son Luke and my friend Diane never even answered my texts. Ah feel the outpouring of love it is just bubbling over!
today is a sea day and the water is a little rough out there. Heck we have been through two hurricanes on one trip this is nothing but first timers are a little nervous.Bill and I each had a hot stone massage this morning and she worked on all my sore and stiff parts. My wrist is hurting a little more today but by the end of the evening it will be fine. Yesterday Chris told me to have a couple of martini’s so I had 3 didn’t need any pain pills and today looks just as good. The cocktail party that Crystal gave all the members of Cruise Critic last night was really nice. My grey goose dirty martinis were almost as good as Pam’s. The best I have had out anywhere usually there is just too much olive juice. I thought maybe Pam made them they were perfect like hers. Of course it would not be me if I didn’t have a faux pax I was eating cheese and caviar on a cracker and I put it down on top of my purse to take a sip of my first martini plop right into the purse it went so there I am digging to find the damn caviar that I didn’t want in the first place and the captain came over to welcome us back. We have sailed with him quite a few times. So I stopped what I was doing and just left the caviar until after dinner
There was a reception for those of us who have sailed with Crystal before and they served Bloody Marys, Mimmosas and Champagne. This was at 11:30 this morning. I tell you the Bloody marys were the best I ever had really spicy.
Tonight the first of three formal nights, we have the Captain’s cocktail party damn if I keep this up I will be floating away but really happy. I haven’t taken a pain pill since I got on instead of loopy from the pain pills I am loopy from all alcohol. I might have to join Bill in AA if I keep this up.
We had another wonderful dinner Chautabriand and Bill had Halibut. Tomorrow I am having Veal and Bill is having swordfish and the Head waiter is making us Caesar salad and I am having the Strawberry soup they are making special.
Tomorrow (Friday) we will be in Charleston! Good night everyone I am going to sleep and Bill is going for a cigar we have an early morning tour tomorrow!
