Saturday November 6 En Route to Miami

Last night after we set sail from Charleston the show was a ventriloquist and he was hysterical.  We then hit the casino and I lost what else is new. Today was a relaxing sea day.  We slept late had breakfast and then headed to a lecture.  After that we hit the Bistro.  Bill had is Latte and I had tea. We then spend time speaking with a couple we met years ago on board.  In fact there is a women here who is here everytime we sail!  Her name is Ruth and she is delightful. Then it was time for a lecture on the tax and duty free shopping we will explore when we hit Grand Cayman in a few days.  After all this lecturing it was time for lunch
today we opted for the Trident Grill and had our favorite there Steak sandwich with french fries.  No right around the corner from there is the Ice Cream Bar and believe it or not this is the first day I have had ice cream since we came aboard.  It has been too damn cold!!!!!  After our lunch we went to see a movie with Robert Duvall and Sissy Spacek get Get Low it was quirky but I enjoyed it.  Then we relaxed before dinner,
Tonight was an informal day which means jackets for men and nice dress or pant suit for women.  We had a great dinner I had Turkey and Bill had fillet of Striped Bass .  Our head waiter made Bananas Foster for dessert.  It was really good ,  Tomorrow we will be in Miami for the whole day.  Went to the show tonight which is Standing Room Only and we have not seen this one before that is one of the drawbacks of frequent cruising. Heading to South Beach and when we return they are making us Chocolate Souffles for dessert.

We just got an invitation for cocktails in the captain's quarters for our birthdays so that will be something to look forward to on the 15th.

Well we turn our clocks back tonight so that means an extra hour at the casino.
